What is It?
This is the question we are being asked
all the time. Is it a pretzel?
No, it is not a pretzel. After you
taste it, just like everyone else who
tried it, you will agree that it is way
better than pretzel. It is
Curleez; a new gourmet snack. It
is a new, natural product using organic
flour and local ingredients from
Vermont. The Curleez is a thin
pastry ribbon wound around a wood
cylinder. The wood cylinder turns
slowly in an oven. The dough is
sprinkled with sugar, which caramelizes
on the Curleez surface, creating a
sweet, crispy caramel crust. Once
out of the oven, it is covered with the
topping of your choice, which ranges
from cinnamon sugar, almonds, walnuts,
coconut, chocolate. If we do not
have your favorite topping, you can
suggest it by sending an email to
info@curleez.com.

How to Store It?
If the Curleez you buy fresh and warm at the market makes
it home and you don't eat it all that night (not very likely),
simply leave it in the biodegradable cellophane wrapping that it
came in and leave it out on the counter.
There is no need to put it in the refrigerator. The ideal
way to enjoy a Curleez is to warm it up. When you are
ready to eat it, unwrap it, place it on a plate and microwave
for 15 - 20 seconds. It will be nice and soft, almost like when
it came out of the oven. Since there are no preservatives used,
it will remain fresh for 2 days, after which refrigeration is
required.

How Do You Eat
It?
This is another question we are being asked all the time.
The best way to eat the Curleez is when it is freshly taken out
of the oven, not quite hot, but nice and warm. Simply
unwind the curls and eat as much as you like.
There are other creative ideas you can do. Unwind one full
circle, warm it up (15 seconds in the microwave) if it cooled
down, place it on a plate and fill the middle with the ice cream
of your choice, whip cream and drip some caramel sauce.
